As a part of Carlsbergs specialty beer strategy, a new brand was launched to bridge the gap between mainstream and craft beer. Based on consumer insights the label was mechanically designed with shelf impact and consumer needstates in mind. With inspiration from Carl Jacobsen’s (son of Carlsberg founder J. C. Jacobsen) educational trip in Europe, CARLs Selection was born.
